DWTS' Julianne Hough: Beau Chuck Wicks Needs to Work on "Smiling"

 Dancing With the Stars Julianne Hough and her partner (and real-life boyfriend) Chuck Wicks admit they have some work to do.
They earned a score of 20 for their waltz on Monday's premiere. Judge Bruno Tonioli told Wicks he wasn't relaxed enough: "I thought you were going to strangle her."
"The one thing I didn't want them to say is that we had no chemistry -- then we'd really be in trouble!" Wicks told Usmagazine.com after Monday's show. "But it was very nerve-wracking. She's a great teacher and my best friend, and we got through it. I could feel my heart beating through my tux, though!"
"Like everyone else, I have to learn how to dance!" added Wicks, a country singer. "That's a given."
Hough "makes me learn some difficult steps sometimes," he said. "She doesn't just let me dance around her or she just dance around me. She challenges me, makes me pay attention and makes me want to pay attention."
Hough said during their relationship she never gave lessons on the side.
"He didn't even know me as a dancer when we met!" she told Us. "So we're definitely starting at square one."
Added Wicks, "Slow dancing, That's about all we've done."
Hough says her beau needs to work on "overdoing everything, really smiling and getting into the character of 'the dancer,'" she said.
Replied Wicks "It's weird being competitive and smiling, you know? But I have to do that!"
