Chuck Wicks and Julianne Hough: 'Dancing' gave relationship a spark

Chuck Wicks and Julianne Hough feel that their Dancing with the Stars partnership helped add some fire to their romantic relationship.
"It brought a little spark to the relationship, which was nice," said Wicks during a Tuesday night Jimmy Kimmel Live appearance that followed his Dancing with the Stars ouster. "We've had more arguments dancing together than we ever had as a couple."
"It kind of gave us passion," added Hough. "It was kind of fun."
The country crooner and his professional partner and real-life girlfriend became the eighth couple booted from Dancing with the Stars' eighth season during last night's live results show broadcast on ABC.
"This was a lot of fun. We had a great time," said Wicks. "She's a wonderful teacher. I had no idea what I was getting into because I had never danced in my life. It was fun." ... Read More ...

Chuck Wicks and Julianne Hough have been voted off Dancing With the Stars. Their departure came at the end of Tuesday night's (April 28) show after a combination of viewers' votes and judges' scores failed to keep them in the televised dance competition for another week. Wicks competed as a celebrity while Hough, his girlfriend who was also his dance partner, was featured as a professional dancer.
Hough has announced plans to devote more attention to her career as a country singer and will not be a weekly participant in the show's next season. "To all the critics that thought we weren't going to last: We did it," Wicks said at the end of Tuesday's broadcast. Julianne Hough says she will not be back on “Dancing With the Stars” for Season 9.
“I’m not doing next season,” Julianne told Access Hollywood after she and her partner, country singer Chuck Wicks, were eliminated from the competition show on Tuesday night.
This isn’t the first time Julianne has pledged not to return to the show for the next season. In November 2008, she hit her blog and said she wouldn’t be appearing in Season 8. But she changed her mind when she was given the opportunity to dance with her real life love, Chuck.

Perhaps Chuck Wicks can make his next single a cover of "Sometimes, Love Just Ain't Enough."
The country singer was eliminated Tuesday night from ABC's "Dancing With The Stars," along with his professional dance partner and real-life girlfriend, Julianne Hough.
